Madison to the Mountain
Madison to the Mountain (M2M) Mission Team is working again this year in a cooperative effort with Upper Sand Mountain Parish to raise funds and provide labor to construct a home for a family in need on Sand Mountain.
It is the mission of the team to "Share God's gifts, blessings, word, and love through obedience, service, and example". Constructing the house is merely a by product of our mission.
In parallel with the home building, a one-day Vacation Bible School-type program will be presented as an outreach to a Hispanic community with many young children. This program has proven successful and a blessing for the community and M2M team members alike.
To purchase the materials to construct the house, $22,000 must be raised to fund the project, half of the amount due in early Summer. To make a donation, write "Madison to the Mountain" in the memo line of your check, along with your personal Asbury contribution number.
The M2M Team, led by members of the Vine & Branches and Shalom Sunday School classes, invites you to join in this work to which they believe God has called them. The desire to answer God's call and serve him are the only skills required to participate.
