Asbury UMC Judean Missions delivers meals to elderly and shut-ins over 40-mile metropolitan routes of Madison, AL. Weekday deliveries are scheduled by the Madison Senior Center located on Hughes Road. To participate in this ministry, please contact Asbury UMC at (256) 837-9696 x291 for orientation and team assignments.

Meals-on-Wheels' volunteers, as stewards, provide for our senior citizens both care and comfort. A special thank you is extended to these volunteers for accepting meal delivery dates regardless of unexpected road detours and unpleasant weather conditions. In a few situations, volunteers have confronted emergency medical responsibilities that developed with our seniors. With dedicated services come the recognitions of shared experiences that transcend each generation. Prayers are continually expressed that each volunteer's commitment provides unexpected keys to in-depth rewards. Sustaining encouragements have been received from related Judean partners who have directed this ministry to hold steady with service efforts. Our reply is a thanks that is warmly expressed.

Volunteers choose to deliver meals once a month as their schedule permits. Both Tuesday and Thursday volunteer teams are complying with these tasks. Other volunteers may have chosen to serve on another weekday, and have directed phone inquires to the Senior Center at (256) 830-1576.
