| CHRIST Choir Tour |
The C.H.R.I.S.T Choir Tour is an annual evangelical and service outreach of the Asbury Music Ministry youth choir. Members have the opportunity to travel while performing musicals, dramatic presentations, and service projects. |
| Christian Women's Job Corp. |
Its mission is to equip area women with the life and employment skills needed for them to obtain self-sufficiency. With the support of area volunteers, CWJC’s goal is to break the cycle of poverty, be it financial or Spiritual. Women selected to participate in the program attend intensive life and work skills courses which are free of charge. |
| Habitat for Humanity |
Well-known effort that provides homes and a path to home ownership for low-income families in Madison County. Each year Asbury members participate with other local churches and organizations in the construction of one home. |
| I Am Sports Camp |
A two day baseball camp for “high risk” youth. Its purpose is to show God’s love within our community by bring the game of baseball to those youth that may not otherwise have the resources to participate. The camp features athletic leaders, former professional athletes, baseball instruction and equipment and Spiritual discussion. |
| Madison to the Mountain |
Two Sunday School classes have joined together in a cooperative effort with Upper Sand Mountain Parish to raise funds and provide labor to construct homes for needy families on Sand Mountain. |
| Meals on Wheels |
Provides meals for the homebound elderly in Madison County who are unable to prepare meals for themselves and have no one to assist them with meal preparation. Meals are delivered by volunteers from the Madison Senior Center on Hughes Road. |
| Redbird Ministry |
Provides clothing and household items collected from individual and Asbury Thrift Store donations to impoverished families in the Eastern Kentucky region. |
Red Cross Blood Drive |
Asbury provides an opportunity every other month for members and community residents to donate blood to the Red Cross. |
Royal Family Kids' Camp |
Reaches out to the foster children of Madison County. |
| Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief |
Asbury works with disaster relief teams to give assistance in food and clothing needs and also in construction work. |
| Salvation Army Mobile Canteen |
Serving hot meals to the needy at Huntsville locations. |
| Upper Sand Mountain Mission |
Asbury participates with other Methodist churches to support families and individuals in the greatly underserved community of Sylvania, Alabama. |
| United Methodist Children's Home |
Beginning as an orphanage in 1890, the UMCH has expanded its services to keep pace with the changing needs of children and their families. Their vision is to follow the example of Christ by providing spiritual, physical, social, and educational opportunities. |
| Urban Ministry |
Serves the Birmingam area with programs of compassion and wholeness. |
