Expecting a Baby?
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
Upward is a Christian-based sports ministry for Kindergarten through 6th grade that teaching children how to play with other children, how to respect authority and how God plays a role in their lives. Registration begins in August.
We have partnered with the Grove Baptist Church on County Line Road. This will be our 7th year and we are expecting around 350 children and will need about 150 volunteers. There is only one practice a week, held on the same night each week with a game on either Friday night or Saturday morning at either Asbury or the Grove.
Asbury is currently in their 6th year and we are expecting up to 350 players and cheerleaders. There is one only practice a week, held on the same night each week with a game on either Friday night or Saturday morning at Five Points or the Grove. The season runs from November- February.
