Faith Steps - Asbury's Confirmation Experience
Exploring Christian Discipleship For 5th through 6th Graders
‘Faith Steps is an opportunity to get to know Jesus and how He can impact your life.'
Faith Steps is offered as a Mini Retreat twice a year in the fall and spring on a Friday from 6pm to 9pm and a Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
All sessions will be in the Fellowship Hall. Snacks will be served throughout the Retreat and dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
Our Six Main Sessions will discuss:
• Who We Are
• How God Has Intervened
• Who Jesus Is
• How We Can Enter into a Relationship with Jesus Christ
• Now What? Living Out the Faith
• From Where Did We Come?Faith Steps is a new approach to Confirmation here at Asbury – each session will be planned and led by two of our Pastors, the Director of Children's Ministry and the Director of Youth Ministry.
This study is for all 5th and 6th graders who have not been through a confirmation class. This will be an incredible Retreat – ending with New Life /Confirmation Sunday at one of the Sunday morning worship services.
