Worship......
It's about the Holy Spirit leading us as we magnify His Name.  It's about equipping and encouraging others in glorifying their Father.  It's about preserving a Holy Ground where people are free to surrender their all to the Father Who loves them.  It's about Jesus and
nothing more!

Ministry Descriptions:
aG Worship Baptismal Team: assist in setting up and taking down the baptismal pool for immersions. This will require a Saturday set-up and Sunday take down once a month after the 10:30 service.

aG Worship Sunday “Take-Down” Team: serve on a rotation with other volunteers to be responsible to take down any “props” that need to be removed from the worship center after the 10:30 service, as well as rolling the altar table into the storage room.

aG Worship Communion Cup Bearers: assist with communion by holding the communion cup at either the 7:30, 9:00, or 10:30 service.

aG Worship Communion Leader(s): oversee communion at one of the three aCross Generations (contemporary) worship services. This includes scheduling of cupbearers and bread servers for their respective worship service, setting up communion and refreshing communion for the next worship service.

aG Worship Communion Coordinator: coordinates communion between all three worship services

aG Worship Chair Set up Team: assist in setting up chairs and altar rails prior to Sunday morning worship. Receive instruction from a team lead.

aG Worship Usher: assist in welcoming, greeting, seating, passing out bulletins and collecting the offering. Receive your duties each time you serve from a team lead.

aG Worship Usher Coordinator: oversee and coordinate all contemporary worship ushers

aG Worship Advent Decorating Team: assist in planning, decorating, maintaining and removing all decorations for advent at Five Points

aG Worship Administrative Team: assist in performing various administrative duties for contemporary worship. Some of these tasks are on an ongoing basis, but most are on an “as needed” basis.

aG Choir: support praise team, currently on Fifth Sundays only. Involves usually 3-4 rehearsals prior to the Sunday of service; and a Saturday run-through with the band.

aG Worship Praise Teams: serve once a month at all three contemporary services. Each team (there are four established teams) rehearses during the week and participates in a Saturday run-through at Five Points, prior to the Sunday they serve.

aG Worship Deaf Ministry: provide sign language support for the 9:00 service only. Team members serve on a rotation.

aG Film Team: Our mission is to create quality videos and films that draw people to a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe we are commanded to use our talents, and gifts in service to the Lord: So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded. Exodus 36:1

aG Drama Troupe-our goal is to use drama to reinforce the sermon message and as a form of worship to our Lord. You know the old description of musical theatre: People break into song because they are so full of emotion that there is literally no other way to express it than through music? Well that's what we see, communicating a love for our Lord that is so strong that there is no other way to say it than through theatre.

aG Visual Arts/Media Team-We are a team of people who are inspired by the art that surrounds us, in our culture and beyond. Our goal is to find and create evocative visual art (photographs, sculpture, graphics, and films) and plug them into the aG services, to inspire the congregation to worship Christ.

aG Crew Connect- We are the body of artists working to glorify our Lord Jesus through all art forms in the aCross Generations services. We are actors, writers, filmmakers, visual artists, dancers, songwriters, lighting technicians, poets, musicians, carpenters, and sound technicians and we love Jesus! If you want to participate in our team, and use your artistic talents for the Lord’s glory, this is your starting point.

aG Altar Team- Working together with Visual Arts, Power Point, Film, Drama and all aspects of worship arts. We strive to make the worship experience all-encompassing. The altar should reflect the message in a way that helps the worshipper to connect with God. We strive not to stand out or apart but to be enveloped in the worship of our Lord.

aG Power Point Team- Our team focuses on enhancing the worship theme within the aCross Generations Services by selecting and creating still photography and motion backrounds. We coordinate with the entire aG Worship Arts crew to present a visually unified representation for the Worship services.
