Athletics

The mission of the Athletics Ministry at Asbury is to give Asbury people an opportunity to participate in athletics and to get to know other Asbury people better. Our goals are to have fun while reaching out to new people and to offer them the opportunity to become more involved with the church through first participating in athletics. Asbury participates in a Men's Church Basketball League at Discovery's Gym and the Asbury Five Points Building, in Madison and at First Baptist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church from November through March. The majority of the players are adults although some 16 year-old + youth also play. Asbury also participates in a Ladies Basketball League at the same locations starting in January.
