How to Become a Member

You can become a member of Asbury in one of the following ways:

• Profession of Faith - This is the declaration to the church that Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord.
  
• Reaffirmation of Faith - renewing your initial confession of faith after a period of inactivity, or not being on a church membership roll.
  
• Transfer of Membership - from another United Methodist Church or a Christian church of another denomination. We recognize baptism from all other Christian churches.

To find out more about Asbury you can attend Discover Asbury. These are two opportunities to tour the facilities and to have dinner or appetizers with some staff members including Senior Pastor Alan Weatherly and other special guests.

How Can You Join?

In your bulletin each Sunday you will find a WELCOME CARD that you can complete.  At the end of each service the pastor will make an “Invitation to Join the Asbury Family." Just fill out the WELCOME CARD completely and bring it with you as you come forward at the end of the worship service. Should you have any questions about joining, contact Kym Williams.

Asbury Next

Asbury Next is a series of of four classes led by the pastors designed to help new members and visitors learn about Asbury’s mission, strategy, areas of service and study opportunities. New members of Asbury are expected to commit to attend the "Asbury Next" class <cc.htm> . These classes will provide an excellent opportunity for you to fellowship and meet the pastors and other key ministry leaders.   We want to make sure members and visitors are connected in vital ways to our church family.
