Asbury has strategically partnered with Urban Ministry, coming alongside their mission to “serve poor people in Birmingham area with programs of compassion and wholeness.”
We are committed to praying diligently for Tom and his staff, and also to getting personally involved in some of the many projects that they lead:  Community Kitchen, after-school tutoring, camps and enrichment for “at-risk” kids, Community Education Program to teach computer skills, prison ministry, and serving low-income elderly persons by refurbishing their homes’ exteriors.  We whole-heartedly support and desire to represent the light and hope of Christ through this outstanding ministry.
