Asbury Mission Area:  Ends of the Earth

Asbury has an emerging partnership with Tinjau in Indonesia.  He is a pastor of a Christian church, planted in the late 1980’s, several of whose members are Muslim-background believers.  His church also has other facets that include a school, pastoral leadership training and business training.  We are actively seeking God’s will for our continuing involvement with this strategic ministry in an area of the world often hostile to the truth of Jesus Christ.

“As I realize the task is very big and it's not possible for me, and I start training those people who are called by God to participate in ministry. This training is very simple, but our goal is to train and equip those who want to serve God. Some of those who finished the training already started churches according to the place God called them to serve. Right now, we have planted five small churches and we will do more and more as God still permit us to do.”—Tinjau
