Asbury Mission Team Area: Ends of the Earth

Philip and Kelly are specifically called as advocates to Muslim people groups.  Philip works to equip churches and individuals to share the Good News of Jesus with Godly wisdom and grace to Muslims.  Philip also has an extensive speaking and conference schedule, locally, nationally and internationally, sharing true-life accounts and testimonies from Muslim believers, and building awareness for all issues pertinent to Muslim culture.  Philip challenges Christians to know the heart of God regarding Muslims, and teaches how to reach them.  Asbury has been privileged to learn much from Philip’s “coaching” in ways to reach Muslims, especially as God raises members of our congregation to go and minister in areas of the world where many live.

“On an unexpected return flight from [North Africa] to USA for medical tests I agonized over the cost of six tickets and how our credit card would be paid?  ‘Why don’t you ask?’ I almost heard as impressed by God’s Spirit.  Light of heart, as I acknowledged His generosity, I briefly confessed by utter dependence on the LORD and simply asked for $5,000. The day after my arrival, when attending an annual Home-coming barbecue, I was summoned to the podium by our Pastor.  ‘Philip, we wanted to give you this gift to help with your expense.’  Imagine my amazement and joy as I read the amount enclosed – exactly $5,000!” – Philip
