Elaine serves as Executive Director of the local site’s office and coordinates volunteers.  CWJC is a ministry of the Woman’s Missionary Union of the Southern Baptist Convention.  Asbury has come alongside CWJC to support their mission to “equip area women with the life and employment skills needed for them to obtain self-sufficiency.”  They desire to give them “hope and a future,” as described in Jeremiah 29:11, and to help break the cycle of poverty, financial and spiritual.  Many opportunities for our members to serve exist at CWJC, including mentoring and financial support.
